The ax (
: kirves) is a tool used to split logs into firewood and harvest moose meat from a moose. To use an axe, pick it up with LMB, equip it with F, and then hold and release RMB. There are two axes in the game: one in the woodshed behind the parents' house and another at the cottage. An axe must be equipped to pick logs from a firewood pile.
Swinging axes serves as a form of exercise, causing the player character to lose weight over time. Using the axe while drunk can result in hitting yourself and dying. Chopping wood also reduces the player's stress.
