The CD (Fin: CD-levy) is a item that can be found inside CD case. Unlike My Summer Car, you can have unlimited amounts of CDs available in the My Winter Car, however, it is mostly determined by your computer's RAM. [1] The developer also stated that he expanded the CD's to play at any CD audio in the game. [2]

The player will be able to find CD's with custom music and some CD's containing in-game music. They can be bought at the flea market. [3]

They can be inserted into the home stereo system to play custom music. Each CD can hold up to 15 tracks, and the CD images can be personalized by editing the coverart.png file in each CD file. Note, the cover art image must be a .png file to properly load.

Adding music[]

Custom music must be in the Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) format, with each track named track1.ogg, track2.ogg, track3.ogg, for each track piece in a CD folder. It is recommended to use 44100Hz Stereo to match common CD quality. The CD folders can be found at:

.\steamapps\common\My Summer Car\CD1
.\steamapps\common\My Summer Car\CD2
.\steamapps\common\My Summer Car\CD3

By default, when no songs have been imported, CDs are absent from the game. Songs are imported manually by clicking the corresponding button in the Main Menu. If you forget to re-import your music, the game won't reset the CDs (and CD cases) position—CDs will be found where you left them after you re-import the music.
